Mr. Kleon did an excellent job outlining some key ways to share your creativity with the outside world. Although some numbers in the selection I could relate to more than others, I enjoyed reading all his points and descriptions. I really liked how he included relevant quotes relating to the “key way”. After reading this post it really inspired me to go online and be an awesome blogger. After about 15 minutes of struggling to figure out how to use Hypothes.is I finally made some annotations within the text. Starting with number 8, learn to take a punch, I explained how the phrase related to my life is several different ways, and how criticism will always be a growing experience. Second, I annotated number 6, teach what you know. I explained how this point related to my experiences in college and how quiet literally teaching what you know can really help others out sometimes.

There are only a handful of “Sprinkles” locations in the US, only 16 to be exact, i’ve only ever been to one (NYC upper-east side). It was the best cupcake I had ever had! This summer my handsome boyfriend and I took a trip out to Laguna Nigel, California for a week vacation at the Ritz Carlton (well, I was vacationing, he was working..) . One afternoon we took a drive out to Newport beach and stumbled upon.. you guessed it.. A Sprinkles!!!!!! I was floored. The one in this picture was red velvet. Truely my favorite cupcake shop EVER!! yum!! #ds106 #sprinkles
This is my dog, Murphy! He is a 1 year old Irish doodle (Irish setter standard poodle mix). He’s about 100 lbs and on his hind legs he stands tall at about 5’7″. He loves running in circles and playing with large sticks. But don’t let his fitting of the dog stereotype fool you, he is the smartest dog i’ve ever had. We spent almost everyday together this summer. This video is of him playing with one of his favorite toys (stuffed penguin) in my backyard at home. Love my fur-child! #ds106 #irishdoodle
Here were in Buellton, California (CA trip 1of2). Were at "The Hitching Post" a popular spot in the film "Sideways"! pic.twitter.com/UvDcwitMF0

I went to a medium sized venue in Richmond this summer for a day concert. I bought the ticket from a friend for 30$, ended up that the lead singer of Five for Fighting, Vladimir John Ondrasik III, was singing live at a bar across the street so we left the concert and went there instead! This is a recording I took at the bar! I love his voice! Really though, best 30$ I ever spend, kinda. 😉 #ds106
Wow, really don’t know what I’m doing right now! This is my first blogging experience. I’m learning as I go, looking forward to this online course.
